Pay Fines with a Credit Card
Paying fines online is easy, secure, and convenient. You may use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.
- Log in to your account with your library card barcode and password, then click on the "Fees" link on the drop down menu under you username.
- You can either use the Pay All button to select all fines or check individual boxes next to specific fines to pay them.
- You will then be directed to a summary of your payment amount and click "Continue" to be redirected to Illinois ePay to complete the transaction.
- If you already have an ePay account, you can log in, or if you wish to set up an Illinois ePay account, you may do so, or you can "Skip Login and Pay" to pay as a guest.
- Enter your email address, and credit card information to pay your fines and authorize the transaction. After you submit your payment, you'll receive an e-mail confirmation. Keep this e-mail confirmation for your records.
If you're paying fees or fines so that you can check out, renew, or place holds on items today, please complete your online payment and bring your printed receipt to the checkout desk as proof of payment.
