- Reader's Advisory Survey | Complete this brief survey and our staff will get back to you with some great, personalized, recommended titles.
- LibraryAware e-newsletters | Subscribe to one or more of these periodic e-newsletters based on the subjects/formats you like! For example, there's Fiction A-Z, Home/Garden/DIY, New Movies, Audiobooks, and the New York Times Bestseller lists, to name a few. These newsletters will come directly to your email in-box and will contain book and movie titles with links directly to our online catalog so you can place a hold on an item or items.
- Overdrive | Download digital audiobook and eBook titles of popular fiction and non-fiction, teen’s titles and children’s books. You'll need your MPLD library card to use this resource.
- NoveList | A comprehensive reading resource for fiction and nonfiction for adult readers. Find author readalikes or search for your next read by author, title, series, or use the advanced search. You'll need your MPLD library card to use this resource.
- hoopla | Borrow comics, ebooks, eaudiobooks, movies, music and television shows instantly with your library card and the hoopla app. Titles stream automatically and are returned at the end of the lending period.
- Voices of Vision Talking Book Center | Part of a statewide and national network of libraries that provide the talking book and braille service. The service is administered locally by the DuPage Library System.
Book Discussion Groups
The library's adult book discussion groups are for patrons ages 18 & up. The selected books can be downloaded on hoopla or Libby or picked up through our curbside service ahead of the scheduled discussion.

Book Club Kits
We've created a set of Book Club Kits for you to check out to start your own book club! Search our catalog using the search term "book club kit" to see the list of titles. The kits contain 10 paperback copies of the book, a resource guide for starting a Book Club, information on the specific title as well as a set of discussion questions.
