Family Health Partnership Clinic | The clinic, based in Crystal Lake, ensures that the residents of the McHenry County area will enjoy the benefit of full access to high quality health care, regardless of the ability to pay. The Clinic operates on a sliding fee scale, although no patient is turned away due to inability to pay. At registration, patients will be asked to provide some proof of income. NOTE: Because all of the doctors and some of the nurses volunteer their time, hours when patients can be seen is limited. Appointments are necessary. Illinois Dept. of Aging SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Program) | A free statewide health insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers.
License Plate Discount | Formerly part of the Circuit Breaker Program. The Secretary of State's office sends eligible seniors a notification after they are accepted into the Illinois Department on Aging's program. When you buy license plates or renew your license plate sticker, you must submit the notification to verify that you are qualified for the discount. If you have already renewed your license plate sticker and paid full price, and are now part of the Benefit Access Program, you may be eligible for a refund. Call the Secretary of State's Office at 800-252-8980 for more information.
McHenry Senior Services | Provides blood pressure screening, health screenings, & exercise classes. Many links to area and state services for seniors.
McHenry Township Senior Center | McHenry Township Senior Center is in the McHenry Township Recreation Facility located at 3519 North Richmond Road. McHenry Township Senior Center is a Salvation Army Golden Diners Nutrition Program site which caters a deli-style daily luncheon. It also houses the offices of Senior Services Associates, Inc. which provides an array of senior services to the older residents in the community.
Illinois Aging Services | A non-profit organization of professionals in the field of Aging Services. Their purpose is to assess the needs of older adults and their caregivers, assure access to needed services and offer education to service providers.
Illinois Department on Aging | The Illinois Department on Aging helps older people live independently in their own homes and communities.

McHenry PADS | A charitable not-for-profit organization with a mission to provide emergency, transitional and preventative measures for homeless individuals and families of McHenry County.

McHenry Township General & Emergency Assistance | General Assistance is available through the township for residents with very low or no income. The township also may provide Emergency Assistance based on the situation and need. In addition to assistance for shelter, food, clothing and medical, the staff of the supervisor’s office will work with residents to find employment and other sources of assistance. 815-385-5605.
Pioneer Center for Human Services | Pioneer Center for Human Services serves persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injury and provides early intervention therapies for children from birth to age five. It also serves victims of sexual assault through the VOICE program and homeless men, women and children through the PADS program.

Chicago Lighthouse | In addition to being the home of CRIS radio, the Chicago Lighthouse is a not-for-profit agency committed to providing the highest quality educational, clinical, vocational and rehabilitation services for children, youth and adults who are blind or visually impaired, including deaf-blind and multi-disabled.
Talking Book & Braille Service of Illinois (TBBS) | TBBS supports the activities of the Illinois Network of Libraries Serving the Blind and Print Disabled. The network includes a regional center at the State Library, three library sites throughout the state known as Talking Book Centers, and an Illinois Machine Lending Agency. Collectively, all of these centers circulate unabridged books in audio format.
